It\u2019s a fully functional evaluation kit packed with motors, wheels, a camera module, a motor control board, and a powerful main processor board that leaves room for future upgrades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So grab your screwdriver and let\u2019s get started!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First up in the box:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have the main board (List part on screen STEVAL-ROBOTKIT1). This is the brain of our robot. It\u2019s powered by the STM32H7 microcontroller, and it handles coordination between all the different components. It connects to motion sensors on board like:   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), which gives us data on acceleration and angular velocity, this is critical for navigation and stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a magnetometer, which reads the magnetic field around the robot for directional awareness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We also have a MEMS microphone onboard to capture audio, making the robot a bit more interactive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And for wireless communication, there\u2019s a Bluetooth Low Energy module (BLUENRG-M2SA), which connects to a mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"351\" fetchpriority=\"low\" src=\"https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6134\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture1.jpg 624w, https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next up, we have the motor board (List part on screen STEVAL-ROBOTKIT1-2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This board handles all things to do with movement. It\u2019s powered by an STM32G07 microcontroller and uses motor drivers to control the speed and direction of the robot. It includes: a camera module, and a time of flight sensor ( VL53L8CX). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"567\" height=\"319\" fetchpriority=\"low\" src=\"https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6136\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3.jpg 567w, https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture3-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, for the rest of the box:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A battery pack (you\u2019ll need 4 AA batteries, not included)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two DC motors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spacers and screws<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A bunch of cables:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motor cables with ferrite cores<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flat ribbon cables for the debugger and board-to-board connections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mounting hardware for the camera<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And of course, the top and bottom chassis, plus two wheels to bring our robot to life!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alright, let\u2019s get building!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 1: Start by attaching the metal brace to the <strong>blue motor driver board<\/strong> using the long screw and nut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"486\" height=\"648\" fetchpriority=\"low\" src=\"https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture4.jpg 486w, https:\/\/content.futureelectronics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Picture4-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 486px) 100vw, 486px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 2: Next, screw the motors onto the bottom chassis. Don\u2019t forget to remove the stickers first! Orientation matters: the metal shafts should face outward; this is where the wheels will attach later. There\u2019s a recessed area for the nut\u2014drop it in, then secure the bracket with a screw from above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex
