GoodLock Embedded Security Dev Board from Microchip Featured in THE EDGE by Future Electronics

Montreal, Canada – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is featuring the GoodLock embedded security development board from Microchip in the latest edition of THE EDGE.

GoodLock is a complete development platform based on Microchip’s SAML11 ARM Cortex-M23, the industry’s lowest power 32-bit MCU, with chip-level security and Arm TrustZone Technology. TrustZone is a System-on-Chip (SoC) and MCU system-wide approach to security that enables both secure and non-secure application code to run on a single MCU.

The GoodLock development board features an onboard programmer/debugger, MikroElektronika expansion header, OLED display, and a rechargeable battery. It also has two ‘keys’ with Secure Element ATECC608A, featuring cryptographic co-processor with secure hardware-based key storage, hardware support for asymmetric sign/verify/key agreement, and hardware support for symmetric algorithms.

GoodLock comes pre-loaded with the Authentication Demo, and the Hacker Demo and Secure Bootloader are available for download. Its advanced features, robust hardware and cost effectiveness make GoodLock the perfect platform to add trusted security to new product designs.
