The NXP i.MX 937 applications processor is designed for power- and cost-efficient edge AI applications, delivering advanced machine learning, graphics, vision processing, real-time control, and embedded security in a single platform. Powered by the integrated eIQ® Neutron Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the i.MX 937 accelerates AI inference workloads while enabling energy-efficient edge computing for automotive, industrial, and IoT systems.
The processor combines four Arm® Cortex®-A55 application cores with dedicated Arm Cortex-M7 and Cortex-M33 real-time processors, providing an ideal balance of application performance and deterministic control. Advanced graphics and video capabilities support up to 1080p60 processing, while the integrated EdgeLock® Secure Enclave and post-quantum cryptography support help protect connected devices against evolving cybersecurity threats.
