WEBINAR

From Sensor to Compute: Designing High-Speed Data Links for ADAS and Autonomous Driving

Thursday, December 3, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

As vehicles integrate more cameras, radar, LiDAR, and increasingly powerful computing platforms, the amount of data moving throughout the vehicle continues to grow. Ensuring that data travels reliably from the sensor edge through zonal and domain controllers and ultimately to high-performance computing (HPC) platforms has become a critical challenge in next-generation vehicle architecture.

Join TE Connectivity for a technical webinar exploring the complete ADAS data path from sensor to compute. Learn how bandwidth requirements, latency, signal integrity, electromagnetic interference (EMI), packaging constraints, and harsh automotive environments influence high-speed connectivity design. The session will also examine how evolving automotive Ethernet and SerDes technologies are helping enable scalable vehicle networks, using TE Connectivity’s GEMnet connector system as an example of high-speed differential connectivity for next-generation automotive applications.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Understand the complete ADAS data path, from cameras, radar, and LiDAR through vehicle network infrastructure to zonal controllers, domain controllers, and HPC platforms.
  • Identify the critical challenges that impact high-speed connectivity, including bandwidth, latency, signal integrity, EMI, and packaging constraints.
  • Learn why vibration, temperature, mechanical robustness, and long-term connector reliability are essential considerations in automotive environments.
  • Explore how multi-gigabit Ethernet and SerDes architectures can help support growing sensor data volumes and computing requirements.
  • Discover how high-speed differential connectivity solutions such as GEMnet can help enable scalable, next-generation vehicle networks.
