Infineon Technologies offers a wide range of wireless connectivity products under the AIROC™ brand, including Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth combos. These products are used in a variety of IoT applications, including smart locks, smart homes, wearables, and gaming. Infineon has sold more than a billion Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips and is a trusted supplier to eight of the top 10 IoT companies.

5G cellular network technology uses a broad frequency range to increase data speed, reduce latency, reach longer range, and improve wireless service flexibility. Although it is still in its early stage of deployment, 5G technology has started to impact our lives by improving accessibility and connectivity. In this training, we will review 5G wireless technology, its requirements on RF and antenna systems, and TE’s 5G antenna product portfolio.
