The Silergy SQ38701/2/3 family is a highly integrated flyback switcher series featuring an embedded 1700V silicon carbide (SiC) power device in a compact SOP16 package. Designed for isolated power supplies ranging from approximately 13W to 40W, the devices support both primary-side regulation (PSR) and secondary-side regulation (SSR) operation, providing flexibility across a wide range of industrial and power conversion applications.
Operating with peak current mode control and PWM/PFM switching, the SQ38701/2/3 family combines continuous conduction mode (CCM) and zero-voltage-switching quasi-resonant (ZVS-QR) operation to maximize efficiency while minimizing switching losses. The integrated 1700V high-voltage startup MOSFET reduces component count and BOM cost, while advanced protection features help ensure robust and reliable operation.
